Friday, February 20, 2009In the past I've praised George Soros for his frank pessimism. But is he reading my mind? I've said the economic collapse is potentially worse than the 30s, and I've compared it to the collapse of the Soviet Union. The starkest parallel is in Afghanistan, where NATO is bogged down as the Warsaw Pact was two decades ago.
Listen to him:
"Soros said the turbulence is actually more severe than during the Great Depression, comparing the current situation to the demise of the Soviet Union."
Way to go Soros!
