Such outright fictions
are the world's religions
that they have called lies truth
and truth, lies,
arrogated good for evil designs,
and created irreversible linear time:
so that we shall do a blind, futile climb
from "Year Zero",
then fall by God's dead weight
over Earth's wayside.
