Embrace the virtual without thinking
ignore the images of the operating rooms
where the desperate humans
get arms chopped off, replaced with cyborg limbs,
forget that the machine is cancer,
or that a mini-black hole could be coming
forget that the economy is collapsing from the top,
that too much damage has been done for this not
to be a sure catastrophe.

Keep not demanding answers.
Don't let your thoughts stray too far,
don't let them conceive of things larger than you.
Forget that those windows and balconies are fake,
live the Disney architecture, live the car,
live the Internet, live the non-fate.
